Terms of service

1. About us. These terms govern purchases from swedzo.com, operated by Swedzo Furniture Ltd (company no. 14618658), registered office PO Box 4385, Companies House Default Address, Cardiff, CF14 8LH.

2. Orders. Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order/dispatch confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, pricing errors, lack of stock, or suspected fraud).

3. Prices and payment. Prices are shown in GBP for the UK and EUR for France. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added — the price shown is the final price of the goods; delivery is calculated at checkout. We accept Shopify Payments (Visa, Mastercard and other cards) and cash on delivery where available (eligibility is shown at checkout). [Add PayPal / Klarna here if you still offer them.]

4. Delivery. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

5. Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights:

• UK consumers: the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose) and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• France/EU consumers: the garantie légale de conformité, the garantie des vices cachés, and the Consumer Rights Directive.

7. Liability. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights. [Add reviewed liability wording.]

8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. Consumers in France/the EU keep the mandatory protections of their home country. [Get this clause reviewed for cross-border B2C.]
